Hi, I’m Erica.

Like so many others during the dumpster fire that has been the last two years, I’ve spent a lot of time thinking about what the hell I’m doing with my life and where my priorities truly lie. With that came the realization that I was quite unhappy in my marketing career, and that life is way too short to waste time not doing for a living what excites me and brings me joy: cooking delicious meals for people, supporting and promoting local farmers and slow food producers, organizing events centered around a shared dining experience, and learning about cultures through the lens of what we eat.

So I quit

and spent the last year honing my cooking skills on the line and applying for a Masters of Gastronomy program at the Università deli Studio di Scienze Gastronomiche di Pollenzo.

And guess what? I got in. I packed up all my things and moved to Italy. This site is a portfolio of sorts documenting this culinary adventure of mine, both for myself and to help educate others. Divertitevi!
